I just returned to Oklahoma from two months of bass fishing
at Lake El Cuchillo, Mexico. We caught quite a few good ones, with 11
pounds, 12 oz. being the largest for this season. The best baits for us
were soft plastics, rattletraps and spinnerbaits.
On the good days we had over one hundred fish per boat. As
always, any of these trips present a chance for that one great "fish of a
lifetime".
We stay at the Don Carlos Lodge. This is a great place and
the food has even improved from the earlier days. We just cannot say
enough about how well we are treated there.
Chuy has spots open for April if anyone is interested in
going on a guide trip with him. Tony and I will be going back in December.
Any time you want to go, either with us or to take your own
boat, give us a call or send an email and we can take care of your fishing
license, permits and lodging arrangements.
